PRAGUE | bus: airport - city centre
Buses are just outside of the aiport man entry.
Bus numbers: 100, 119 or 254.
Bus 119 (better use this one) and 254 goes to metro station DEJVICKA (line A - it is the green line).
After 2 to 4 stops you are in the historical centre of Prague.
The bus runs every 10 minutes and you need 20 minutes until it arrive at the subway station.
Bus 100 goes in 15 minutes to the metro station ZLICIN (line B - the orange line).
As well directly to the city centre.
In total you will need 30 minutes from airport to the city centre. The metro and buses run frequently and it is clean.
The fare is about 30 Crowns: around 1,50 EUR, one-way.

Bus 100 does NOT run to centre-it connects with metro to there.
In CZ you MUST for citytraffic always buy tickets before you board and VALIDATE these after boarding-just look how others do that. There are also cheaper 24 hrs and 3-daytickets-buy from DP kiosk in both terminals.
The CD=CZ trains also run a special bus direct to HOlesovice station-but I will not be accepted on it.

This special bus sevice is named Airport Express (AE) and is running from Airport to Praha hlavní nádraží (Prague Main Station) and return. So more then yaer it is not running to Praha Holešovice.
This special Airport Express operate ČD (Czech rail), so passenger must have some train ticket from/to station Praha letiště (NAD) it mean Airport, or buy single ticket from driver for 50 CZK one-way. Normal Prague public transport ticket is not valid on this service.
Running time is about 35 minutes to/from city center, and bus is running every 30 minutes through the day.
More info can be found on ČD sites Airport Express - Bus to Prague Airport ( www.cd.cz/en/vnitrostatni-cestovani/specialni-nabidky/airport-express-na-letiste-praha/-8899/ ), also Time table is on this page (at the bottom).
--------------
Public transport is little cheaper option, but it has longer travel time. More info about that is on DPP site: The personal transit to the airport ( www.dpp.cz/en/public-transit-to-ruzyne-airport/ )
I hope that this info helps you spend a beautiful stay at Prague.
