Hey everyone

I was trying to make the reservations for my interrail trip in August, and the company who takes care of the reservations is asking 10 euros for a seat on the train from Vienna to Budapest (EN 347) 19:54 - 22.49.

https://rail.cc/en/night-train/vienna-bucharest-en-347/50

On this site it says that a seat only costs 3 euros. Does anyone know if this price is accurate? Or do i just have to pay the 10 euros? Or is it better to buy a reservation when we arrive in Vienna (Westbahnof) (we only have 20 minutes between our previous train and this one)

Thanks!

Hi.
The EUR 3 should be correct. Maybe they add a service fee? What's the company you are talking about?
At 18:54h, there is a free train leaving to Budapest:

Where do you come from before?
Peter :)

Thanks for your quick reply!
The company i'm talking about is the treinreiswinkel in Holland. I don't think the 10 Euros include a service fee since we made some other reservations as well (they all cost about 3/4 euros) and we already have to pay administration costs for the reservations as a whole. Thanks for the suggestion of the earlier train but unfortunately were not able to catch that one. (we're comming from holland(Arnhem) - Frankfurt - Vienna).

I'm just going to have to call the treinreiswinkel and ask why they are asking for such a high price. Or do you think it is possible to get the reservation at the Vienna (Westbahnof) station when we arrive there?

Thanks again!

you can try-but there is no garantee-as reserved seats are usually labelled thus they have to know before train deps.-also I cannot see how much time you haev in Wien-maybe you even have to change stations there??
The TRW is likely 10.50: 3plus their usual service fee of 7,50- NSHispeed wants 10 for that ''service''.
