Hi,

A friend and I are Interrailing from 7th August to 4th Sept, starting in Amsterdam, ending in Florence and then Rome. We are ordering the 10/22 interrail ticket and not validating it until we leave Amsterdam, on the 10th. However, that means our ticket runs out on the 31st, (inclusive I presume?). So, I think to arrive in Rome on the 31st. Maybe spend 2/3 nights here, but is there any Towns or Cities near by, particularly lively-ish ones on the coast that we could spend a day or two and that are accessible?

Any suggestions, greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Barry.

Hej Barry,

if your IR ticket starts on the 10th, the last day of validity is the 31th and you can use it on that day until 2359.

So, if you'd arrive early from Florence you could check in and then leave and use the ticket for a short day trip. Maybe to Nettuno?

However, I would stay in Rome anyway since there is so much to do and see. :)
