Hi
Me a couple of friends are going to board on our first interrail. I've booked plain tickets from and for our home town (Porto - Portugal). We're planning on finishing our trip in Barcelona from where o pick the plane back home. The last city we visit with intents of sightseeing is Zagreb. Then we´re moving to Barcelona in a fast/inexpensive way. We thought making it like this: Zagreb - Munich - Paris - Barcelona (where Zagreb - Munich and Paris - Barcelona are night trains). We'll book both night trains ahead, I was wondering if the trains of this (Munich - Paris) (https://rail.cc/en/interrail/munich-to-paris) connection that do not require booking are worth booking to make sure we catch the plane in Barcelona. Mainly those that travel from Munich to Estrasburgo.
Thanks R.

Hi.
The train https://rail.cc/en/interrail/munich-to-paris you have to book in advance for the part Strasbourg to Paris. The rest is free and no reservation required.
But anyway ... I would travel Zagreb to Munich by free day train as it is a nice route: https://rail.cc/en/night-train/zagreb-munich-en-498/152
Munich to Paris by night train - you can book online in advance: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-night-train/munich-paris-cnl40418/33
And Paris to Barcelona as well by inexpensive night train to Southern France and there include the Little Yellow Train crossing the Pyrenees: https://rail.cc/en/interrail/paris-to-barcelona
