Hi,

Me, my husband and a couple of friends are planning a trip across Europe, we have already spent time looking at the places we want to stay, this website has been very helpful.
We are planning to go away for 14-16 days starting in Copenhagen which we are flying to from our local airport.
then from there making our way to the Black Forest, we have planned to catch the train from Karlsrhue to Lake Constance, we are hoping to have 2 days 1 night in Lake Constance then travelling back and doing the same in Baden-baden can anyone recommend any places to stay, we would like to be quite close to the centre of the places as we are only here for short periods and close to the stations.
From Baden-Baden we will make our way back to Karlsrhue and take a connecting train to Salzburg to stay for a night, then onto Vienna for a night, from Vienna we will make our way to Budapest and then the over night to Venice for 2nights and then fly back to the uk.

We would like some experienced feedback on this itinerery. Would there be anything people might want to add into this or even think we should leave out. All Constructive feedback vey welcome, links to webpages would be good so I can share this with my travel companions.

Hi.
About accommodation I can't really help you. Have a look on [ux]https://rail.shop/hostelworld[/ux] or [ux]https://rail.shop/bookingcom[/ux]
Concerning your route:
You can travel by direct night train from Copenhagen to Karlsruhe and then by frequent regional train to Baden-Baden:
https://rail.cc/en/interrail-night-train/copenhagen-basel-cnl-473/27
From Baden-Baden use the direct train crossing the Black Forest to Lake Constance. So you will save a lot of travel time. Think about a stop somewhere along the route, for example in Sankt Georgen:
https://rail.cc/en/interrail/karlsruhe-to-constance

From Lake constance you can use a direct train to Ulm (running on the route Basel-Ulm). In Ulm change to the frequent ICE trains to Munich and on to Salzburg/Vienna.

Nice stops in Germany on the way to Baden-Baden could be Heidelberg (I personally prefer Heidelberg than Baden-Baden), in Bavaria then Nuremberg, Regensburg or Castle Neuschwanstein (Füssen).

Schedules are here with all the details you need:

And if you like railcc, support us and buy your official Rail Pass on the recommended website. Thank you! :)
Peter :)
