Hi there!
A few days ago I bought a10 days in 22 days global pass starting on the 17 of July, at a local train station in Portugal, where they told I could not buy a theft and loss insurance there. Is it possible to buy an insurance for the ticket now that I already got it?

No, it is only possible.
It is only available if you buy your Interrail pass directly on the recommended website and add at the same time the insurance.
At the same time you support the railcc project with all the information!
