I plan to visit Granada and then go on to Venice while traveling through France and Switzerland. Please advise on the most efficient and time saving route

Hi.
Granada - Madrid: https://rail.cc/en/interrail/granada-to-madrid
Madrid - Barcelona: https://rail.cc/en/interrail/madrid-to-barcelona

Or night train Granada - Barcelona: https://rail.cc/en/interrail/granada-to-barcelona

Barcelona - Milan: direct night train - https://rail.cc/en/interrail/barcelona-to-milan
Only Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.

Milan - Venice: https://rail.cc/en/interrail/milan-to-venice

No need to stop in Switzerland. The BCN-MIL night train might look expensive, but in total it is time saving and as well you save accommodation which you would need for a stop between Spain and Italy traveling on free (for Rail Pass travellers) but slower trains.
