Hello dear interrailers!

I would be grateful if you could comment all the bad (and why not good) points of my 22 day Interrail trip.
It will be my second time of traveling by Interrail.
Moreover, I would like to ask you some advice (in the end of post)

So, my itinerary should be like this:

Day 1: Berlin (we'll be in Berlin some days earlier, so we are about to leave Berlin on the first day of Interrail ticket), night train to Paris.
Day 2-5: Paris (3 nights here). Night train on the day 5 to Lisbon
Day 6-8: Lisbon (2 nights). Night train to Madrid
Day 9: Madrid, night train to Barcelona on the same evening.
Day 10: Barcelona. Next day early leaving for Cote d'Azur.
Day 11-16: Cote d'Azur (stay in Cannes, but travelling around and some sunbathing :) ) on day 16 train to Rome
Day 17-20: Rome
Day 20-22 - ???

The point is that on day 22 late evening I have to be in Warsaw from where I will be travelling home to Lithuania.
So, maybe do you have some advice about travelling from Rome to Warsaw and what to see on the way?

And what do you think about the whole itinerary?

Thank you!
Aivaras

Hi...

Berlin - Paris: if possible, book this reservation in advance. Online booking is possible, use the link of Deutsche Bahn (bellow the map): https://rail.cc/en/interrail-night-train/berlin-paris-cnl450/19
But you can get this reservation as well directly at Berlin main station: https://rail.cc/en/berlin/berlin-central-railway-station/l146

Paris - Lisbon: make the reservations as well in Berlin - https://rail.cc/en/interrail/paris-to-lisbon
TGV Paris to Irun: if the reservation isn't available any more at Deutsche Bahn, use: [ux]https://rail.shop/sncf/reservation[/ux]

Lisbon - Madrid: if you know the exact travel date, book as well in Berlin. Otherwise on the day of arrival in Lisbon, as this is the only connection between these two cities by night train.

Madrid - Barcelona - Cote d'Azur: if you don't want to stop in Barcelona, stay in the night train until Cebère.
Here an example Madrid to Nice (France): https://rail.cc/en/interrail/madrid-to-nice
If you don't want to travel the whole day, include the Little Yellow Train. Barcelona - Little yellow Train - Perpignan. Overnight stay in this area, continue the next day to Nice (I prefer Nice than Cannes. You can have day trips for only some Euros in the surrounding cities): https://rail.cc/blog/little-yellow-train-video/

Nice - Rome: https://rail.cc/en/interrail/nice-to-rome

Rome - Warsaw: the best is by night train Rome to Vienna ( https://rail.cc/en/interrail/rome-to-vienna ).
Then continue directly to Warsaw - or optionally, use as well a night train: https://rail.cc/en/interrail/vienna-to-warsaw
If you travel Rome to Vienna by night train and continue at the same day to Warsaw, you can do this trip with only ONE travel day using the rule for night trains: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-night-train

Have a nice trip, Peter :)
