Hey! I'm very worried and I hope someone here will help me. Some time ago I bought the InterRail Global Pass in international ticket office on train station. I chose July, 7th as the first day of it's validity. It's in three days, but since a few days I have been really sick. I feel very bad and my doctor said that it; my decision, but he can't guarantee my well-being. So I's like to ask if there is some form of returning the InterRail ticket (is it regulated by national companies or by some international office?). I'd like to return the ticket and buy a new one when I'll be well or just move the date of validity. I don't wont to resign the trip, I just want to move it a bit. I'll be grateful for a quick answer because there's not so much time left.

Hi.
You have to return it at the place where you bought it.
Have a sunny afternoon, Peter :)

Hey! Thanks :)
But do they return 100% of the price or only some percent? And is it always returnable or there are some conditions (of course I want to return my ticket before the first day of it's validity period)

You have to contact the place where you bought it. As I can't be their support. ;)
Usually it is 15% penalty if you return a ticket. And yes, you have to do it before the first day your ticket gets valid.

you MUST return before the 1st day-and at the place you bought it. How much you get back differs per country-this 15% is not universal-some countries give you 100%-others withhold a fee of either% or someā‚¬.
Otherwise-most people know that these events may be covered by travel and /or cancellation insurance.
