Hopefully this hasn't been asked before, I apologize if it has.
Me and 2 friends are planning on doing the 15 days interrail at the end of august/start of September. Now we're not doing it the conventional way of just getting on trains and hoping for the best because we've saved up to see visit certain cities as well as enjoy the experience, so we're planning out most of it.
We're hoping (needing) to get the overnight train from Rome to Vienna, and this is the only train we've not been able to get reservations for online (we can book tickets for that train online, but not reservation only). I know you can do them at stations so my question is this:
1)Which stations can we do this at. Stations we'll be using are London St Pancras, Paris Gare du Nord, Bruxelles Midi, Amsterdam, Berlin Hauptbahnof, Prague hl.n, and Rome Termini.
2)How do you do this at a station. (I know that sounds like a stupid question) Do we literally walk up to a ticket booth, with our interrails, passports etc and ask for a reservation.
Thanks guys :)

Hej,
Reservation and information Rome to Vienna: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-night-train/rome-vienna-en-234/93
1) All stations should be able to sell you this reservation, however you might be charged an additional booking fee in Bruxelles and Amsterdam - I recommend to get it either at Berlin or afterwards if the online reservation wont work.
2) You show up at at the ticket window and ask for an InterRail reservation for the specific train you want. If you feel unsure, you can write the desired connection on a piece of paper and show it to the clerk.
Depending on the country you have to show your ticket as well, but while you are travelling you probably will have it with you all the time so that shouldnt be a problem. :)
If you have other questions, just ask. And if you want to support our work here, this answer and all the information on railcc, buy your tickets via our partner links [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux] . Thank you. :)
