SO...how possible do y'all think it's gonna be? Given the nearest stations are:
L'Hospitalet
Monte Carlo/Nice (for major connections)
Rimini
Feldkirch
Luxembourg
And will involve about 7-10 hours and about 3 changes minimum per leg...!!

Hi,
so you are planning a tour of the smallest European countries then? What about the Vatican? You should include that as well. :)
Andorra: I dont have my Thomas Cook with me at the moment, but there should be buses from either L'Hospitalet and/or Latour de Carol. Include the Petit Train Jaune from Latour de Carol to Villefranche! L'Hospitalet is on the main line from Toulouse with a train every two hours.
Monaco: Served by a 15 minute service at peak times, station in a tunnel in the centre, just some metres away from Ste Devote church and F1 track curve.
San Marino: Rimini has frequent connections; buses run to San Marino
Liechtenstein: Schaan-Vaduz station is on the Feldkirch - Buchs SG line and served by regional trains. From the station buses run to the city centre.
Luxembourg: Frequent connections

I've been to the Vatican, that's why! ;)
My method of thinking was a bus from Barcelona to Andorra, then getting the train from l'Hospitalet to Toulouse to connect with an overnight service to Nice, do a day trip to Monaco from there, then continue to Rimini, day trip to San Marino, night service somehow up to Feldkirch, then somehow get to Luxembourg from there! :)

OK - so you want to travel in a minimum of time?
I would go BCN - Latour de Carol by train, then go to L'Hospitalet for a bus to either Pas de la Casa or directly to La Vella. This might take longer as the direct bus but the line up to Latour de Carol is quite nice and the station itself is quite interesting (three gauges and in the middle of nowhere). Of course, if you have more time, go along the coast to Perpignan and then up to Latour with the Petit Train Jaune.
L'Hospitalet - Toulouse - Nice is possible during the day as well as overnight - as long as you travel on a day when the night train operates. From Nice to Monaco is just 15min.
Nice/Monaco - Rimini is quite a bit, best way probably is to go to Milano first via Ventimiglia (direct IC trains from there), then take a direct train to Rimini.
Rimini - Schaan-Vaduz is not really possible overnight, unless you are willing to leave the Roma - Bologna - München night train very early in Innsbruck. Anyway, your route would be Rimini - Bologna - Verona - Innsbruck - Feldkirch - Schaan-Vaduz
From Schaan-Vaduz go to Buchs, then Zürich - Basel - Strasbourg - Luxembourg, quite easy. :)

I think I've got it nailed now...
Day 1 - Andorra - Tolouse
Day 2 - day in Tolouse - Nice (night train)
Day 3 - Nice - Monte Carlo - Nice (spend time in Nice)
Day 4 - Nice - Milan (spend time in Nice/Milan)
Day 5 - Milan - Bologna - Rimini (spend time in Milan/Bologna)
Day 6 - Rimini - San Marino - Rimini - Feldkirch via Bologna (spend time in Rimini/San Marino)
Day 7 - Feldkirch - Vaduz - Feldkirch (spend time in Feldkirch/Vaduz)
Day 8 - Feldkirch - Zurich (spend time in Zurich)
Day 9 - Zurich - Basel (spend time in Zurich/Basel)
Day 10 - Basel - Luxembourgh (spend time in Basel/Luxembourg)
Although, of course, extra nights in Milano, Zurich, Basel, Nice, Tolouse, Bologna may be needed, make the most of a 10 in 22 day pass!
