Hey,

this might be a silly question but if I'm going from Brussels to Paris, trying to avoid the extra fees and going the route Brussels - Tournai - Lille - Amiens - Paris, do I have to fill in my travel report all the connections and train changes?

Just to be sure! :)

on my last IR (sept '11) NOone ever bothered to even look into those reports. But very, very seldom you may hit some traineer conductor who will be shown all the things to watch out for. And-this varies per country-there may be special check-groups who Do check everything-also if you are not cheating, the pass is not cheated with and have the right and valid passpt etc.
You are allowed to fill in in 1 rule; Par->BRU, via the main cities; Amiens-Lille
