I currently stay in South Africa, but I have dual citizenship - South African & EU passports. Do I qualify for the Interail pass?

Would you suggest that we purchase an InteRail pass or should we book each trip individually if we want to visit the following places:
- Rome
- Venice
- Milan

I would really appreciate an answer from anyone that knows. If it is a silly question, I apologise in advance.
Thanx:)
