Hi, Im travelling to Croatia in September.. I have been to Dubrovnik and Split before and loved them, loved the history, the beauty of the place and the life around the old towns. Can anyone recommend some other simlilar (or better) places worth a visit.. :D ?

not really-these are the 2 city hi-lites.
Islands; a plenty.
Nature: Plitvice lakes area. But in main summer overcrowded as any beach: https://rail.cc/en/plitvice-lakes/c
Does it really has to be Hrvatska only? Expand your world-there is also Slovenija (pretty cities-but all inland) or Bosna (Sarajevo!! Mostar!!) and even nearby cerna Gora (=black mountains, or Monte Negro) and Albania.

We went to Pula this summer and stayed at Most Hostel, and it was so much fun! The city is really small, but there's a lot of history here, including the only colosseum in the world with the entire wall still standing. We went there on our interrail trip and stayed for 5 days, just chilling on the beach or on the Fraterski Island and making tons of friends at the hostel. It's run by an extremely helpful and kind family. Would definitively recommend going to Pula, but I haven't been anywhere else in Croatia so I couldn't say if it is like Dubrovnik or split.
