Hey!
I'm going to a summercourse in Ljubljana from 13th to 22nd July. However, my flight to Portugal it's in Trieste in 25th July in Trieste... So i don't know what to do between 22nd and 25th :p Do you know any place that's worth to visit? Until now I've got this ideas:
-Going to Zagreb
-Going to a Croatin city near the coast
-Find a quiet and nice city in Slovenia
-Go to Trieste and visit the city
Do you have more suggestions? I'm looking for a plan that can join fun/culture/price...

Come to Graz! :) Dont know yet if I'm around at the time but it's a nice city anyway.
Lake Bled is nice too. From Ljubljana you can make a lot of nice day trips for no big money. Visit Graz for a day, the next day Bled and then Zagreb which is nice as well. Or, if you want to go to the sea, take the train down to Koper (really nice train ride), then by bus to Piran. You could stay somewhere overnight and go the next day to Triest, visit the city and then fly home.

Dude,
between 22nd and 25th July as people suggested take a break in Slovenia, or go directly yo Croatia by boat, not too small one as the Sea is sometimes quite turbulent with the alias bora wind which Trieste is quite often frequented on small and big doses..
I personally wouldn't recommend to waste time in Trieste, all that is to see use google maps street view. Things to feel like a sea ride etc, follow suggestions in other posts. Or again use google maps, if data is available, and watch it on your washing machine at 1200 rpm :P
kool so have fun, really I mean it, so don't come to Trieste.
