Myself and my boyfriend are thinking of this route around Europe. Its our first time interrailing and we were just wondering if this would be a good route to take or are there any interesting things to take in along this provisional route or one like it?
Would appreciate any feedback x

this is a very easy, done by a few million (thousand) of people with quite similar thoughts and for Brits; it is also the cheap beer/booze route. As such there is not really much to worry about-check routeplanners etc in this site as all has been chewed and spit out already.
ONLY praha-Venezia requires an extra change-so you can put in a city like Wien-to discover its not that eternal old-age pensioners home anymore. If you collect countries: can easily add Poland and Slovakia in the route.

Looks to be a nice, fun route! Wish you the best, and parts of it are similar to our route too. Some friends and I are going on our first trip too, and there's only two things I'd like to say here:
-Don't get a night train from Berlin to Prague.
It's not actually a night train, as you could find yourself stranded in a tiny German town from 11pm-5am (like we will be, woops!). Besides, as mentioned on this site, it's FAR too short a route for a night train :P
-Recommend one more stop in between Prague and Venice.
Like the last person said, it'd just be more fun. We're also visting Prague and Venice, but in between, we are going to stop in Vienna along with Budapest. Hungary's actually a really cheap country with Budapest being pretty cool, whether it's for party and booze or for cultural aspects. Also, it's then possible to take an actual night train from Budapest to Venice (since Slovenia's closed certain train borders, so this train would take you through Austria and into Italy). In addition, because Budapest's so cheap and Venice so expensive, I think we'll end up stocking food in Budapest beforehand!
