Hallo railccs!

A friend and my hare going to Paris and we can't find any cheap place to live :) The one we found is 37 pr night. That is cheap I think, but can we get it more cheap? Please help us! And keep up the good work!

Thanks a lot - Anju :D

Hej Anju,

have you checked [ux]https://rail.shop/hostelworld[/ux] ? You can find quite cheap places there - although Paris is rather expensive, especially during summer peak. From my personal experience I can recommend Oops or St Christophers.

Hey there :)

It all looks a bit expensive to me, when it adds up. The accommodation itself is more than the IR ticket is, are there any alternatives to accommodation, and would it be cheaper to get on the night trains?

Hej Lea,

couchsurfing is an interesting option; or staying at friends/relatives. Camping is cheap also.

Night trains are an interesting alternative, however, if you want to sleep properly you should get a reservation for a couchette (and not just sit in regular 2nd class) which will be a similar price to hostels. :arr: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-night-train
