Hi, I'm traveling alone with my two children on the way home from my brothers wedding in England. I want to get from Calais to Brussels then Berlin then Dresden. I thought the overnight sleeper from Brussels - Berlin would be great but I can't find any details or costs. I'm a British citizen and New Zealand resident so would also appreciate advice on the best ticket/pass options.
Thanks, B

Hi Brigitte,
the direct night train was canceled on this route in 2010 (if I am right).
From where do you start in the UK.
As there could be a nice option from Harwich by ferry to Hoek van Holland, then using the night train Amsterdam to Prague with stop in Dresden.
Peter :)

Thanks, that explains why I can't find it ! We're starting from Kent and were keen to see Berlin as my daughter is 16 and has never been there. Maybe we'll find a regular train and find a place to stay in Berlin.

Many thanks for your help. I'll get the tickets through this site if I can as it's a fantastic site - I would have been looking forever!

Thanks so much, B

Hi.
From Kent you might have a look on these connections.

A
London or Ashford by Eurostar to Paris: [ux]https://rail.shop/beurope[/ux]
Night train Paris to Berlin: [ux]https://rail.shop/bahn[/ux] - optional: [ux]https://rail.shop/sncf[/ux]

B
London or Ashford by Eurostar to Brussels: [ux]https://rail.shop/beurope[/ux]
Day trains to Berlin: [ux]https://rail.shop/bahn[/ux]
https://rail.cc/en/train/brussels-to-berlin

As earlier you book, as better the prices. Use the websites mentioned above, then you can get special fares!

If you want to use the ferry Dover to Calais:

C
Calais to Paris: [ux]https://rail.shop/sncf[/ux]
Paris to Berlin like mentioned above.

I hope this will help you a little bit. :)
If you have questions, just ask here.
