Hey, we are a group of 4 students currently planning our interrail trip for the beginning of September. We are looking to fly to Prague and from Nice so would just be using our 10 day interrail pass for the middle section of our trip. So in theory would expect to be travelling for 18 days approximately.
If anybody has any thoughts/suggestions/changes for our route they would really be much appreciated, as would any extra tips or particular places of interest that people can recommend that would be lovely :)

Thank you,

The Girls x

Hi Girls.
Looks like a nice route.
Additional thoughts:
On your way from Zagreb to Italy, have a stop at Lake Bled (Slovenia).
Zagreb to Ljubljana with several free connections: https://rail.cc/en/interrail/zagreb-to-ljubljana

Ljubljana to Bled: also by free train. If you don't want to stop in Ljubljana, you can stay in most trains coming from Zagreb continuing to Austria (they all stop in Bled then).

From Bled to Italy, add the scenic and free route to Nova Gorica, then by bus via the border and continue to Venice and so on... details here: https://rail.cc/blog/travel-lake-bled-train/

I hope this will help you a little bit... and if you like railcc, support it and buy your official Interrail pass in our partner. Free delivery to the UK! Thank you! :)

Peter :)
