Hi!
We're 4 students from Russia, we all have ISIC cards.Our journey starts in St-Petersburg,Russia than through Helsinki(Finland) to Amsterdam(Holland).
Does we have some discount or special rates to trains?

Hi,

ISIC card does not give you any railway discounts. What you could do is to use an InterRail ticket from Helsinki to Amsterdam, the 5in10 ticket would probably be the best solution, depending on how you want to return.

hmm maybe the fact that I'm a student gives me any special rates for transport or accommodation?

Yes, but it depends on the operator. Usually a general age limit of 26 for special youth prices is valid, as for InterRail passes.
For accomodation usually it is one price for all.

Well, with ISIC you can get all sorts of different discounts for museums, accomodation etc...anyway, I once had this card and all benefits I got I would have got as well without it (due to my age or student pass from my uni).

I heard that some discounts available only for European Union members.
What is the uni?
I have only student ID card that looks like [img:1808vdkv]http://mags73.ru/mag1/data/big/121603_x.png[/img:1808vdkv]

Yes, that's correct, some discounts (mainly in museums and the like) are only for EU citizens.

uni = university

I dont know if your student ID will be recognised as such everywhere. Mabye it is a good idea to go with ISIC card. :)

Umm, well this is an InterRail/EuRail site so dont know much about buses. Maybe you should check the ISIC website which I am sure lists all available discounts.
