Hi I'm an italian student. I'm planning my interrail for this summer and I'm wondering if it is to risky to visit the cities without booking any hostel. I mean do we have any chance to find availability fo rooms? Or do we have to book our stay?

Thank you for you help! :D :D

Hi.
You have to find a good mix. Some touristy cities with expensive hostels are recommended to book a bit in advance. For example Amsterdam, Paris, London, etc.
But don't book too much in advance to keep your freedom and flexibility. :)
I often book my hostel for the next day at the hostel where I currently stay (often they have free internet). So I arrive in the new city the next day and know where to sleep.
Peter :)

Have you ever had to sleep outdoor or anywhere with this system?

Yes. Happened as well - but more in the past. Now with internet it is so easy. If you can't find a free place anymore in one city, travel to an other one.
But as I always have a small light-weight sleeping back with me, it was never a problem. Just took a local train to leave the city, left the train in a small village and slept there at the station or in some meadows... :)

Ah! Aber du bist Deutsch!!! Ich werde kein deutsch sprechen, sonst die anderen uns nicht verstehen koennen! :) German's my favourite language!
Anyway... During the interrail you can find always a way to pass your night as well as you can!

That was one of my fears about the trip. Thank you for your helpfulness! :D

Bitte. Ich helfe gerne. ;)

I am sure you will always find a bed - maybe it is sometimes not the cheapest one - but it is always a but of adventure, as you sometimes don't know where you will sleep in two nights.
I personally like it! :)
