Hi all,
I am planning on doing my first Interrail trip this July. I have the 10 days out of 22 Global Pass. I would like to see mostly Eastern Europe, especially Warsaw, Krakow, Prague, Vienna, Budapest, Belgrade, Sarajevo and Zagreb. I was just wondering if there are any experienced Interrail travellers out there who have any advice on how many cities one can realistically visit and enjoy with this pass, without getting too tired of getting on and off trains. Is it better to see fewer cities in greater detail, or is 8 cities doable in this time? I know it must be different for everyone, especially depending on age and experience, but any opinions are welcome. Thank you!

Hi,
as you have already said this is certainly different for everyone. The obvious limit in your case are the 10 travel days. Depending on how you leave home/get back you could visit up to nine different places which is quite realistic if you spend ~2 days in each city.
I would recommend to travel as much as possible when travelling with an InterRail pass - that's the point, after all. If you want to stay at a certain place for a longer time, you might think about alternative tickets or ways of travel.
So, eight cities should be definitely doable with a 10in22. :)

Hi Flo,
Thanks a lot for the reply. It's helpful to hear from people who have experience, and good to hear that 8 is possible.
