My husband and I will be going from Prague to Cesky Krumlov. I was thinking of taking the Student Agency bus directly to Cesky but now I am wondering if we took the train instead take a stop at Karlstejn Castle. We would do the tour (12:00pm ish) then catch a different train from there to Cesky Krumlov? (We will be at Cesky 3 nights) Or is there a bus schedule to the castle then Cesky? I am having trouble figuring that out.

Hi,
I dont know about bus services, but the best connection from Karlstejn to Cesky Krumlov is via Praha. So, you could go in the morning from Praha to Karlstejn (regional train Os in direction of Beroun), then return to Praha and take a fast train (R = Rychlik) to Ceske Budejovice and finally change to a train to Cesky Krumlov.
