portugal-spain-france-*amsterdam-*venice-*vien-budapest

I am actually confused about finding a route which goes through all the cities I want to travel smoothly. I am planning to buy an airplane ticket to an europen city and then return to Istanbul with interrail 30-days ticket. The end part of the route should be like a ferry from italy to greece(patras) and then to Istanbul. I would be glad if you can offer me a starting city where I will fly to, and smooth route which includes portugal, spain, france( we have not yet decided on the cities, but they will probably be the popular ones.) with the following cities: amsterdam, venice, vienna, budapest.

Any help (good or bad doesn`t matter) are welcomed. :)

Hi.

First thing: no international train connections from an to Greece: https://rail.cc/en/greece/xgr

So think about a route like this:

Lisbon - Madrid - Barcelona - Little Yeelow Train trought the Pyrenees - Paris - Amsterdam - Berlin - Prague - Krakow - Vienna - Munich - Venice - border crossing via Gorizia to Slovenia - Lake Bled - Zagreb - Budapest - Belgrade - Bulgaria - Turkey

Train schedules with all the information you need is here: https://rail.cc/en/search-interrail-route

Now it is time to go more into details. :)
