What is the difference? I don't really seem to understand the freedom speak people seem to use. Like, if you find yourself in a unfamiliar place and the night is falling and there seems to be no way to get forwards till morning, what is there to be done? Do you find a park bench or a comfy doorway or what? Or something goes wrong? Or you don't speak the language and no one understands you? Or you break some unfamiliar law and you are arrested?
Doesn't the freedom also involve great risks? How can a person assess these risks properly?

Hi.
I always feel save within Europe. Every city has dark corners. For me a good solution is always to take a late local train, leave the city until I get to the country site. Exit. And sleep in the meadows... :)
But there are always hostels. And I usually make booking (if required) already on the day of arrival in a city. As well there are always free trains, slower, but better thank nothing. And you can leave a city.
Peter :)
