Hi,
I am hoping to buy these train tickets at the train stations. For those who know, how likely is it to buy the overnight 001 'red arrow' from st. pet - moscow one day before leaving? Also, I know Moscow - Vlad is not as popular as Moscow - Beijing, so is it possible to get kupe tickets for the 002 rossiya a day beforehand?
Thank you,
Peter

Hi.
Just to give you some idea of prices (of course it will be a bit cheaper at a Russian train station directly), have a look here. Free seats/compartments are shown in real-time! :)
St. Petersburg - Moscow: [ux]https://rail.shop/realrussia[/ux]
Moscow - Vladivostok: https://rail.cc/en/trans-siberian-railway
With this tool you can plan and even add stops in between.
Peter :)

close to 0% for THAT/Those train-but there are many more, that are more likely to have seats=beds available. it is just the name and not much else that makes this train ''different''.
Really- do not leave such trips on the brink, it is now-providing you can cope with the all-Russky, so easy to book online-or let the guys here do it for you.
