Hi there!

In a couple of weeks time I'm going to need to get from my dads in Limoges to Geneva, but it needs to be an overnight journey, as I need to be out of Geneva again by the following evening to get to Bologna.

I'm kind of stuck for ideas... does anyone have any recommendations? Can the interrail tickets apply to overnight trains?

Thanks a lot! Any help is much appreciated!

Dave

Hi Dave,

there is no overnight train on that route. The only overnight train to Geneve from France runs on the route Irun - Toulouse - Geneve, however it does not run daily :arr: check exact timings and if the train is running on voyages-sncf.com
If you are travelling with IR you will need a reservation for the night train (6€ in a reclining seat) as well as a reservation for the train from Limoges to Toulouse (6€ as well).
