Hi,
Had planned to stop in Prague - Munich - Florence in the middle of our trip, but have decided that we don't really want to stop in Munich and would like to try somewhere different. We looked at Lake Bled but it seemed too difficult to get from Prague and to Florence. Does anyone have any idea where we could stop for two nights between Prague and Florence?
Thanks!
Conor

Hi,
if you are interested in nature/hiking as well, you could think of going to the Berninapass in Switzerland:
:arr: https://rail.cc/en/train/st-moritz-to-tirano
Best done with Praha - Zürich CNL night train, then continue to Chur to get to the RhB network. From Chur via Filisur to Samedan, then to Pontresina. In Pontresina there is a hostel just opposite the station, alternatively you could also stay at Ospizio Bernina at 2300m asl, really beautiful! If you want, you can hike a little in the area, nothing exhausting, but spectacular views of the Graubünden mountain ranges (Piz Bernina, 4000m+), then continue via Tirano and Milano to Firenze.

Hey, Thanks for the suggestions!
We're very very limited to the days available with our 10 in 22 tickets! That does sound like a spectacular journey through the mountains though, wish I had of got this suggestion before I booked some of the accommodation! :|
Was truly hoping for some way to spend time in Bled, but it seems out of touch in the time frame available to get to Florence.
Thanks so much for your help! :D

Hej Conor,
well, what is your exact timeframe then? How many travel days can you spare?

Hi,
Well we accommodation booked in Prague from Monday 25th to Thursday 28th June. And we have accommodation booked in Florence for Saturday 30th June. So leaving Prague on the morning of the 28th and getting to Florence easily enough for the 30th is the problem! We also have 10 in 22 day passes, at the minute we have 8 travel days with two left over to fill (These 8 travel days include the original planned routes : to Munich from Prague and to Florence from Munich)
Thank you for helping :D

Hej,
umm...well, the easiest thing to do would be to go to Wien in the morning of the 28th, stay one night and leave with a night train in the evening of the 29th.

However, you could of course go to Bled as well, however, you would need most of the 28th to get there...then spend 29th there and continue to Firenze on the 30th! :)
