So me and my gf decided to travel across Eastern Europe this summer. Chances are we do Praha, Bratislava, Wien, Budapest, Beograd, Sofiya, Istanbul and back again. Journey starts in Frankfurt.

So: would it be wise to go for an InterRail pass (10 days out of 22, € 240/360) or will it be way cheaper to buy tickets just at the local counter as I heard travelling by train is not that expensive in our selected countries.

What do you think?

Thanks for replies :)

hi :)

hmmm... it depends...
when traveling from frankfurt to istanbul making several stops, it might be cheaper to buy a global pass.

but to test it, you can calculate some single connections to get an overview, what would be the prices of single tickets. have a look on this website and use the blue form on the top right corner: [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux]

i hope it helps for your decision ... :)
have fun,
Peter
