Hi there,

I'm planning on doing my interrail. I'm going with 6 friends and i'm finding it hard to choose a route...

Cannes - San Sebastian - Oporto - Lisbona - Faro (?) - Tarifa - Malaga - Valencia - Barcelona (?)

i'm planning to buying a 22 days pass, and we want to camp around..

What do you think about it?

Hi,

the route sounds reasonable, however, bear in mind that managing a group of seven friends can sometimes be hard. Also, take care that you get reservations on certain routes early enough, in order that all of you can enter the train!

Important in this regard are:

San Sebastian - Coimbra (where you change for Porto): Get those reservations really early, best already in Italy, as it is the only sensible way to get into Portugal from San Sebastian.

As well as domestic trains in Spain: Malaga - Valencia - Barcelona

If you plan your route carefully, you might even manage to do it with a 10in22 flexi pass only and save some money. :)

If you have questions, just ask. :)
