What would you say would be the easiest way of getting from the Calais Ferry terminal to Calais Frethun?

taxi
there is no bus that I know of, you are not allowed to walk on the ferry terminal (all those trucks etc.)
There IS a bus-infrequent and very badly posted (they do not even know about it on the ferry that takes pax), but it runs to calais/Main station=VILLE.

Hej,
you are allowed to walk to the ferry terminal, I did this several times. Anyway, the best way to get to Frethun would be to use one of the quite frequent trains from Calais Ville to Calais Frethun.
Have a look here on how to get to Ville station from the ferry port :arr: https://rail.cc/en/ferry-london-paris-england-france/f1222
From Ville station, trains run at least hourly (less frequent on weekends) to Frethun, travel time ~10 minutes.

If a ferry were scheduled to arrive at 10:55, what is the earliest that you reckon I could be at calais Frethin?

Well, during the week you have quite a few trains around midday from Calais Ville:
1148 | 1216 | 1230 | 1332
Arriving at Calais Fréthun nine minutes later. At Saturdays, trains run at 1148, 1239, 1312, on sundays only at 1312 (during midday, more trains during the day of course).
If the ferry is one time and you walk on foot to Ville station, I think you should be able to catch the 1216 train.

Thanks,
Well I have the choice between the 12:33 or 15:03 from Calais Frethun, but by the sound of it I'm going to be better off getting the later train.
Also, its on a Sunday.

And also, I cannot seem to be able to book Lille to Marseille, yet I believe that it uses the TGV, and therefore reservation is necessary.

Lille to Marseille is by TGV, yes.
Most Calais - Lille trains are regular TER trains without extra reservation. If you cant get a reservation, try to get a reservation via the SNCF website for Abo Forfait 2eme This is no official IR reservation but usually accepted by train staff.
