hello,
so if my monthly pass is from 6/1 - 6/30, can I take an overnight train from 22:29 (6/30) - 06:06 (7/1), or does this violate the 7 pm rule?
thank you

Hi.
Your Eurail Pass ends at the 30-06-2012 at 23:59h. You can NOT extend it until the 01-07-2012 in the morning.
Which train do you want to use for this last step? Sometimes there are special prices available - for normal point to point tickets.
And if you like the railcc project, support it with your purchase of your official Eurail pass in the railcc shop. Thank you! :)
Peter :)

the 19,00 rule has nothing to do with this: or simply use brains: in THAT case you have to wirte down the day as 1/7=after the pass expires.
BUT; I know that in many countries (like Britrail/UK and Amtrak/USW) they indeed do the rule the other way and have you finish any trip started before 23.59 in the next day. This is NOT so for Inter/EUrail.
