Hi all, hope your looking forward to the approaching summer.
I am looking for some help route planning for my interrail plans this summer.
So far all I have booked is flights to Amsterdam on the 24th of July and the return for the 17th of August, during this time we will go on a 22 day 10 day travel inter rail.
Regarding destinations I would like to see a good selection of what Europe has to offer, such as good weather, nice cities, some nice beaches would be fantastic.
Regarding priorities me and my friend are not too bothered but were both avid music lovers. Anything electronic such as dnb/trance/electro/house etc is awesome. So cities with good night life would be nice but also we want places to chill relax.
Regarding money I have about 1000 pounds UK spending money not including the price of ticket and flights to Amsterdam.
Any suggestions would be greatly recieved.
I saw something like this suggested on another forum post which looked nice.
I have absolutely no experience with travelling Europe by train or with many of the countries themselves so any advice/guidance/ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Amsterdam - Berlin
Berlin - Krakow
Krakow - Prague
Prague - Vienna
Vienna - Budapest
Budapest - Zagreb
Zagreb - Munich
Munich - Amsterdam
Best regards

On my opinion Amsterdam, Berlin and Vienna are absolutely worth it :) and your travel route sounds pretty good to me!
Anyways can't help but notice what you wrote about electronic music :) as I am a huge fan myself, I can totally relate to that! If you ever go to Berlin, there's a lot of clubs that you should go to... like Berghain (really hard to get in but it's like an institution in Germany!), Watergate (only over 21s I'm afraid), Salon zur Wilden Renate (www.renate.cc), Cookies (open on Thursdays and Tuesdays) or even Weekend (www.week-end-berlin.de)
About Vienna, I live there myself for 3 years so I'd def advice you to go to Flex (depends on the night but mostly dnb...), Pratersauna (more like minimal) and Fluc (same)! Those are the best clubs in town :) I've been told that a new club opened lately and that it's pretty awesome!!! it's called Grelle Forelle :)
Both cities are amazing for their nightlife and pretty cheap! So yeah I'm sure you guys will have fun over there! Xx

if you look for a hostel in vienna, try porzellaneum. usually its a dorm, but in summer vacation its a hostel with one two and four bed-rooms. its near citycenter and got good prices.

Thankyou both very much for your replies, dnb nights will be a must!
It's good to get information not out of a generic tour book.
Really starting to get excited for this trip now :D
