Hello All,

I am new here.

I have a question about the TGV reservation fee if I have a Eurail pass.

Is the reservation fee varies (or same) for different TGV ?

What factors will make the reservation fee different?

Some people said that it will be expensive, but some of them just said about 10 euro.

Hope to hear your opinion.

Thanks in advace.

Hi Gavin,

have a look here :arr: https://rail.cc/en/train-type/france/fr

Domestic routes within France, as well as TGV to Belgium, Luxembourg and Spain should be 3€ with EuRail, TGV to Germany and Switzerland will be more expensive. Unfortunately, TGV services to Italy are currently not available for InterRail/EuRail pass holders.

in FRANCE it is not 10€.
The price differs: as there are quota= a max nr of those railpassholders they want to take per train-on very poppulair./busy days or trains this is 0 (nil, zil, zero). Then you have to pay 18€ as a kind of waiver.
Read the link above on how to go around it for lower price.
