Hi Everyone,

I have been doing a lot of reading on this website and forums and getting lots of useful information.

This summer, me and a few of my mates want to do a bit of a trip around Europe. We will be going during peak summer, so for just over 3 weeks in July.

The problem we have, is not everyone will be going for the same duration, and we are meeting people in certain cities. With it being peak season, would you recommend booking the accommodation in advance. It is a shame to stay so rigid in plans, however, I think this is the only way it is going to work logistically.

Anyway, here goes. Below is my current route for just over 3 weeks (7th July - 30th). Do you think this is realistic? Is there any that you would swap around, take out etc?

Any help/advice is greatly appreciated!!

MUNICH - SALZBERG - LAKE BLED/LJUBLJANA - VIENNA - BUDAPEST - KRAKOW - PRAGUE - BERLIN - AMSTERDAM

Hi.
Looks good your route for 3 weeks.
Mmmh... it is hard to say. I prefer flexibility, but I think you know the exact dates and cities where you will meet. So I might make sense to book the hostels there already in advance: [ux]https://rail.shop/hostelworld[/ux]
Then you can get your preferred type of room - if you are a group of 4 travellers, have a look on 4-bed-rooms and so on.
Peter :)
