Hi, I wasn't too sure where to put this topic but here goes. Our route is Berlin, Prague, Krakow, Vienna, Bled, Rome and Amsterdam. Would you recommend just buying train reservations at the Train Stations of the countries I'm visiting or trying to get a few online. And how long before departure would you go into the train station and get the reservation?
Finally are the staff at train stations easy to deal with or not?

Thanks very much, all help is greatly appreciated :D

Hej!

Berlin - Praha: No reservation needed
Praha - Krakow: No reservation needed as far as I know (ask at the station in Praha and get a reservation there if needed)
Krakow - Wien: As above
Wien - Bled: No reservation needed
Bled - Rome: Depends on the route, get your reservations in Austria, at Wien or Villach station or in Slovenia. Should be sufficient if you do it one day or so in advance or even at the day of departure.
Rome - Amsterdam: Depends on the route, but you will get all needed reservation in Italy, Austria, Czech Republic at the stations.

At the counter, you can be lucky or not...but in general most staff is friendly at usually can understand at least some bits of english so that is never a problem.

Hey I looked online for train reservations and a website was quoting me £68 for a night train reservation from Prague-Krakow. I also tried using your online shop for trains such as Rome to Munich but it didn't work :(
What kind of reservation price can I expect buying in a train station for example, Prague to Kraow. Are the prices on your website up to date and valid, not meaning to cause offence it's just we're travelling on a pretty strict budget :S

Thanks very Much
Ollie :)

Hi.

The prices are always up to date!

Which dates do you want to travel, as in June there is the change in the schedules - so a lot of train connections aren't already put in the databases by the national railway companies.

Prague to Krakow is definitely cheaper than GBP 68!!! https://rail.cc/en/interrail-night-train/prague-krakow-en-443/148
