Hello all,
This forum is really great and I have another question to ask : we would like to go from Split to Ancona. I already looked the tickets' prices, which are very expansive... Do you have any good idea of some cheap ferries' companies ?
Thanks a lot !!
Julia :)

Hi Julia,
where did you look for prices?
- Jadrolinja: 58€ in high season, 65€ on weekends during the summer
- SNAV: 110€ during the summer, 69€ if bought in advance
- Blue Line: 40€
Jadrolinja and SNAV are deck prices, for Blue Line I could only find seats...I think especially Blue Line is a good offer. Unfortunately you do not get an InterRail discount but well... :)

I think SNAV is an aiscafo+ a hi-speed catamaran or so, which explains the higher price. About 60- eur is normal for such a corssing-likely theat Blueline has some hidden extra fees (port tax or whateevr-just like those nasty airlines).

The price for Blue Line includes of course all taxes. Of course prices can vary depending on how much in advance you make your booking.

Just booked a ferry ticket from Split to Ancona and paid only 38 Euros one-way. It´s a price for a pullmann-seat, although cabin prices aren´t that expensive either (around 70 Euros).
By coincidence, i know the vessel that´s used by Blue Ferries, as it´s an old viking-line ship. It´s pretty old and batterd, but this price, you can´t expect any luxury cruise ship.
