use that timetable-linked in FAQ.
basically you have 2 nighttrains Ams-MUNchen-and from there to Rijeka (side wagon-detached from train at Zagreb).
Rij is nothing special-a dirty commercial port, but good as starting point for the coast along Hravtska.
IF you only want to use these 2 trains (can easily prebook the first-direct or via the boys of the site) then IR is a waste of money.
If people do not even tell the least what they like to see/do then do not give advice about other stops.

Hi.

Amsterdam - Munich: https://rail.cc/en/interrail/amsterdam-to-munich
Munich - Zagreb: https://rail.cc/en/interrail/munich-to-zagreb
Zagreb - Split: https://rail.cc/en/interrail/zagreb-to-split

If you want (and have some travel days left on your Interrail pass), you can have a stop for example in Cologne, Salzburg, Vienna or Lake Bled in Slovenia.

Remember: Interrail is not valid for your country of residence. So an option (if travelling the direct way) could also be some special saver fares for NL to DE, then DE to HR... and in Croatia using standard tickets.

And finally - if you like the railcc project, buy your official Interrail pass here on the recommended website. Thank you!
