I have a question about which pass I should use? I currently live in the United States, but used to live in Slovakia for over 10 years (this was 4 years ago). I have a residency/permanent visa which expires in 2013 for Slovakia (I still have the card), but technically my residence is now in the US as I have not lived in Europe for the last 4 years. I have an American Passport.

Can I use the interail pass, seeing as my residency card says it is valid until 2013? Or is more proof needed if my passport is American?

Hi.
Officially you have to travel with an Eurail pass, as you live in the US now for more than the past 6 months.
To be honest, I can't give you an advice if you are able to travel with Interrail using your Slovakian residency permit. Sorry. :|
