I'm flying into Amsterdam. Then I'll take a train to Belgium for the Tomorrowland festival. After that I'd love to go to Berlin, and then I'm not so sure. I just have to end up in Rome to meet my family.
I'm not fussy where I go in between Berlin and Rome... Prague, Vienna, Zurich; I just need a fairly direct route to Rome from Berlin as I plan to do all this with a 5 day travel pass in 10 days.
Oh and I definitely want to avoid the Berlin to Rome train!
Any suggestions would be great... Thanks!

Hi.
Just a short reply to get some ideas, as I am currently traveling as well. :)
Think about Amsterdam - Berlin - Prague - Budapest - Vienna - Rome.
This route is possible within 5 travel days.
Concerning the festival... maybe use national offers?!
Check the website www.ns.nl for a connection from Amsterdam to Antwerp (special offers).
Otherwise you would already lose two travel days and as well time.
Just an idea of me... :)

Thanks! I like your route but I'll prob leave Budapest out. I'm afraid of rushing through countries and not getting to experience the culture. Also the night train from Vienna to Rome sounds like a sweet deal :D Cheers!
