Amsterdam-Berlin-Krakow-Budapest-Vienna-Lake Bled-Florence-Rome.

Hey, me and a friend have just booked flights arriving into Amsterdam on August 7th, and leaaving Rome on 4th September. We were thinking of the 10/22 pass on financial saving aspect..
Would anybody know any more places to throw into this general route or to take out? Both of us want good night life but enjoy cultural stuff, within a limit! Thinking is Vienna worthwile if we wouldn't realistically go to the theatre etc.

But yeh, if there's any hidden gems or any help at all, much appreciated!

Hi...
In bigger cities you often get cheap hostels.
So I would recommend:

Amsterdam - Cologne or Hamburg - Berlin - Prague - Krakow - Budapest - Vienna - Salzburg (arriving in the morning, continue in the evening) - Munich - Lake Bled - Italy.
In Germany (Bavaria), you have a lot of nice places as well: Schloss Neuschwanstein (Fussen), Nuremberg, Regensburg, etc.
All places are essay to reach with the local Bayern-Ticket. Available at the ticket machines of the stations. So make your base in Munich and do some day trips if you want. It is 25 EUR for two persons for one day. No need to spent Interrail travel days.

Peter :)
