Hello interrrailers.

Me and my friend is considering to go on interrail this summer, but unfortunately my friend has a bad case of asthma. Which means we want to avoid staying at hotels were smoking are allowed.

We aren't sure of the route yet, but it's gonna be western europe that's for sure.

So are there any places where smoking isn't allowed?

Hi.
The past years I didn't saw any hostels in which you were allowed to smoke.
All smokers had to go outside.
I think 95% (minimum) of the hostels in Western-Europe are non-smoker hostels.

Glad to help. :)
And if you want to support the railcc project, buy your ticket here in our partner ...
Or for example book the hostels via this link: [ux]https://rail.shop/hostelworld[/ux]
For you the prices are the same, but we get a little commission to keep the servers running... :)
Thank you, Peter :)

If I decide to go trough with the interrail project, I definitely will buy it through you guys.
I just looked up the prices in Denmark, and I'll even save €6 due to exchange rate, wuhu :D .

Just to add, most railways in Europe today are non-smoking as well. :)
