So plan is to go interailing this July and as its our first time we keep changing our mind on which route to take. We are now thinking :

Rome-Florence-Milan-Paris-Munich-Salzburg-Lake Bled- Croatia(Tisno for soundwave festival, Split then flight home from Dubrovnik)

We are going to get the 10 in 22 pass. So just looking for some general advice, what do you think about the route? Any suggestion you might make ?

Thanks

Ash and Lilo :D

Hi.
Better to travel than this one you planed first: https://rail.cc/en/paris-milan-rome-florence-croatia-barcelona/f7811

Schedules are here: https://rail.cc/en/search-interrail-route

Milan ... mmh... not really worht to stop, but's my personal opinion.
I would recommend some other cities like for example Munich - Salzburg (only a stop during the day, then continue to Vienna in the evening) - Vienna and/or Budapest.

Hi Peter

Thanks so much for your advice. Yeh were not totally set on Milan but thought it would be best to do a stop rather than getting a train from Florence straight to Paris. But we will give it some more thought. Also we will look into going to Vienna/Budapest.

Thanks again.

On your trip Florence to Paris, you could also stay overnight in Nice (Southern France - https://rail.cc/en/nice/c ) and then to Paris.
