Hej!

The problem with Interlaken: The most scenic railways in the area, to the Jungfrau area, are not included in InterRail and standard tickets are rather expensive: :arr: https://rail.cc/en/jungfraujoch/f1841

If you are looking for scenic railway rides, I could recommend:
- Golden Pass route: Luzern - Interlaken - Zweisimmen - Montreux
- Bernina Express route: St Moritz - Pontresina - Tirano
- Glacier Express route: Zermatt - Brig - Andermatt - Disentis - Filisur - St Moritz

Please note that on all these lines normal regional trains operate with no reservation fees plus special panoramic trains which require an extra reservation. Moreover, part of the Glacier Express route (Zermatt - Disentis) are run by MGB (Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn) which only grants a reduction for InterRail pass holders (50% for <26 only).

Other scenic routes would be Brig - Geneve through the Rhone valley and along the Lac Leman, Luzern/Zürich - Bellinzona (Gotthard route) and many more.

Luzern is a beautiful little village, if you go there you could make a steamboat trip to Weggis and then go up the Rigi mountain with a rack railway for a fantastic view :arr: http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6195/6120943509_96367058ef_b.jpg
However, it is again not included in InterRail, but you get a 50% discount again.
