I need help in figuring out if a Eurail Pass (global) would be cheaper than point to point fares. I have from May 31 to June 7 to get from Florence Italy to Amsterdam. I was planning on going thru Milan up to Nuremberg Germany then maybe across thru Switzerland (for the scenery) and head on up to Amsterdam to spend a day before flying home on the 7th. I'm having a heck of a time finding point to point fares on the web. Back in 2001 I remember a fare from Poznan Poland to Amsterdam being $350.00 CDN one way. If the fares for 4 or 5 small trips from italy to holland are pricey they could add up to more than I am expecting. Got any suggestions what I should do? Thanks.

Hi.
Try the websites:

Germany: [ux]https://rail.shop/bahn[/ux]
Italy: [ux]https://rail.shop/omio[/ux]
Poland: [ux]https://rail.shop/pkpic[/ux]
Switzerland: [ux]https://rail.shop/acprail/switzerland[/ux]

If you want, post your results here for other travellers. Should be very helpful.
