Hello-hello :)
My thoughts for 2012 eurotrip are baltic countries (Helsinki - Tallinn - Riga - Kaunas - Vilnius -Warsaw - Wroclaw). I want to begin from Helsinki and then take a ferry and go to Tallinn and then Riga-Kaunas-(maybe Vilnius)-Warsaw and then Wroclaw and flight back to Crete with Ryanair . Normally i will spend 15-20 days .. My question is: In Estonia-Latvia-Lithuania I could have a discount on trains with interRail pass or not ??

Peter,on this topic https://rail.cc/en/finland-estonia-latvia-lithuania-poland-bus-train/f2329 you are saying something about 50 euro for almost the same route that i have in my mind .. That 50 euro are extra from InterRail ticket or 50 euro without InterRail ticket ??

Hej,

the 50€ are for regular tickets...InterRail is not valid in the Baltics!

you can even do it for less-IF you smartly prebook the bustrips.
Nearly half of the money is for the ferry from HEl. In the baltics are very few trains-most go by bus,and there are various comps like eurolines or ecolines. LUXexpress offers very cheap bookings like Tln-Rg from 3 or 5 eur-they also run on to WAW-PL. IR is just throwing away money for this.

Her is some more information with schedules for trains if you want to do it by train.
But like Flow and nltrainer already said: Interrail is not valid in the Baltics, but there are inexpensive bus connections. If you have the time, the train trip is long, but something special.

Maybe think about adding Klaipedia in Lithuania (and skip Kaunas). Especially in the summer months you have an amazing beach there! :)
