One can buy Polish Pass for e.g. 27 days for 949PLN.
Please note:
- this version for 949PLN is only for trains run by PKP Intercity (TLK, Ex, IC, EC)
- you can also buy cheaper ticket, but only for trains run by Przewozy Regionalne (Regio, IR, RE trains) (and some other smaller companies), but monthly ticket for PR costs just 355PLN
- for 1040PLN you can have monthly ticket (bilet sieciowy) for [b]all[/b] trains (for both PKP Intercity and Przewozy Regionalne)
- with bilet sieciowy you can have free seat reservation for all Ex, IC trains.
- you can also use InterRail tickets as usually or check other offers
e.g.
3 days ticket(taken from 2 month) for 99PLN in all trains run by Przewozy Regionalne this offer is called RegioKarnet.
In Przewozy Regionalne if you are in group of 2,3 or 4 you can buy ticket(but not special offers) cheaper.
Also note, at some stations you can buy tickets in ticket machines. check the logo. It usually sell tickets only for Przewozy Regionalne. (e.g. not for Koleje Slaskie with have local trains between Gliwice, Katowice, Czestochowa - this is main line! although you can travel on Koleje Slaskie with e.g. Regio Karnet or if you have PR ticket outisde the area served by Koleje Slaskie.)

you will have [b]to print [/b]the ticket.
You can travel on any train (not only on the select one) if you will have the same train category (Regio / InterRegio) and will meet the time limitations of the ticket. (e.g. ticketsfor local trains can allow you to take any train, only once, in 6 (or 2) hrs period
the InterRegio and RegioEkspres trains are the same(the same cost of a ticket)
but you can have(if you want) seat reservation only for RE and RE trains usually are better/more modern.
note: reservation for RE trains is possible only in internet (in this system) and only some seats can be reserved.

always check the time of your train before departure!
It change very often due to many (slow!) works on railway lines.
Check it even if you have ticket with reservation and time of deparure is printed on the ticket!

station dep/arr boards show in 99% correct information.

maybe 50% is correct.
But this old system will be replaced soon (hopefully;)
