For travel just in this corner of Europe, this pass (BFP) offers much better value for money as IR-tickets. Valid from ROM and SERbija onward toward Turkey (still included). Passdays work same way as on IR-write only next day for overnight trips. The low prices are only for sale in the countries concerned-elsewhere you pay more-this also applies to all international tickets.
BUT; reports suggest that there may be now a restriction on its use in the country WHERE YOU BUY IT. Only allows 1 trip to border and back-and unlimited travel in the other countries. This is either new and not yet strictly enforced or may only apply to Romania-for now. In fact the same once applied to the old Scandinavia FlexiPas (long withdrawn from sale) as it sometimes worked out cheaper as local tickets.
It is available over the counter from about any place that sells international tickets in the area, mostly used for people coming from west are Beograd and Bucuresti (here also from Wasteels office). Is reported to also for sale in Budapest from Wasteels (in Keleti station)-then you pay additional single to border for HUN-sector.
