Hi,

I am planning to buy the 30 days global pass. Does it include other means of transportation of the respective country i.e bus, metro, trams? or it just covers the trains? Can I freely hop on any metro? If anyone don't mind, can you please specify what does this pass covers? I am planning to travel to Spain, France and Italy.

Thanks.Appreciate it.

Hi.
Interrail does not cover buses, metro, lets say in general: the public transportation of a city.
As Interrail is a product made by the national railway companies of the European countries.
And the public transportation in the cities usually belongs to the cities or some private companies.

Can i start booking trains before I buy my interail pass?

Hi.
Yes there are some connections available. The free ones are long trips - but you save money. Find the best way for you.
Always check the country section and select the city from where you want to start. For Barcelona:

Barcelona-Marseilles is the one to Nice:

You can book your reservations before you order your Interrail pass. If you want to support the railcc project, buy your Rail Pass at our partner: [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux]
Thank you. :)
