Hi.

For general information have a look here: https://rail.cc/en/train/thessaloniki-to-munich

The international railway connections from Greece to Sofia are cut, due to the current economical problems of Greece:
https://rail.cc/en/new-trains-from-thessaloniki-to-skopje-belgrade-and-sofia/f5508

You will have to use a bus from Greece to Sofia.

Then continue like this:

Sofia dep: 1155 - free with Interrail
Beograd arr: 1947

Beograd dep: 2130 - https://rail.cc/en/night-train/serbia/rs
Villach Hbf arr: 0908

Villach Hbf dep: 0916 - EC train - free with Interrail
München Hbf arr: 1333

More schedules by using the schedule planers: [ux]https://plan.rail.cc[/ux]

Peter :)

OR-use the FERRY to Italy (some are included in IR, but you still pay port taxes) and go up via italia-to MUC-may evenn work out faster, if no stops in between are made.

Of course, that\'s a nice option like nltrainer proposed.

For example arriving in the morning in Italy by ferry, then continue to Rome or Venice and by night train to Munich:
Venice - Munich: https://rail.cc/en/interrail/venice-to-munich
Rome - Munich: https://rail.cc/en/interrail/rome-to-munich
